Hey guys. I really need some advice because I’m honestly confused.

About 2 years ago I lost 16 kg by being in a calorie deficit. At first I was eating around 800 calories, then I increased it to about 1,200, and it kind of stayed like that for around 1.5 years because I was too scared to eat more.

Eventually I decided I wanted to go to the gym and get more toned, because eating so little left me “skinny fat” and not really comfortable with how I looked.

I’ve been going to the gym for about 4 months now. I lift heavy, do cardio around 3 times a week, go to the gym 3x a week, and also walk around 10k steps daily.

I’ve been doing InBody/SECA scans, but I’ve only gained a tiny bit of muscle and haven’t really lost any fat. I increased my calories to around 1,450 for the first 2–3 months, and now I’ve gone up to 1,800. I also take creatine and have been for a while.

But honestly… I feel like nothing is changing. If anything, I look more puffy than before.

I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Should I be eating more? Less? Doing more cardio? Training differently?

I’d really appreciate any advice because I feel stuck and don’t know what to do.
