So for context, I first got a Nee Doh in late 2024 as a gift and I absolutely loved it. I am a very bad adhd fidgeter and nee doh’s helped me stay focused in class/work or just doing everyday things. Well I’ve had that nee doh for a while now and it unfortunately broke. In my mind I didn’t think it was a big deal as I would just order another one. I went online and they’re sold out in literally every store. I thought maybe I just got unlucky, so I checked social media and apparently there’s a trend to buy them now with people hoarding them and reselling them? This is Covid toilet paper all over again. Can someone explain what the craze is about? I’ve tried looking around, but it seems nobody knows why they even want them, let alone 15+ in a collection. I get that it’s a stress ball and I respect people who use it for that reason but can this trend just be over with? Apparently it’s been going on for 5 months…
I ended up ordering another stress ball from another brand but jeez, I’ve never seen anything as silly as this.
