I’m playing through aberration, and I have 2 mods installed, vanilla with sprinkles and Dino depot. I’m super late game trying to tame a reaper, recently finished stacking mutations on both rock drakes and megalos, honestly pretty much ready for the boss. I decide let me go tame a reaper.
I do it, get a 150 baby, and on my way back I’m killing stuff and my game crashes. When I reload the game, the reaper baby is gone, I’m a little upset, but fine it happens. But I then notice that all my Dino balls are gone and that the Dino depot content isn’t there.
Turns out after crashing my single player file didn’t have the mods on it anymore. ALL MY MUTATED BOSS READY CREATURES WERE IN DINO BALLS, THEYRE ALL GONE. This is weeks worth of work, my last backup save was a bit more than a month ago. I loaded it, trying to save at least some of the progress I had, and it’s from right before I started mutations.
I honestly don’t know what to do, all my creatures pretty much are gone except for the rock drake I was on when the game crashed. Idk what I could’ve done to stop this after the game crashed, how is this even happening??? So now I lost not only all my creatures, but everything else I had done in the last 6 weeks or so.
I might honestly stop or maybe I’ll restart on another map bc I honestly don’t even want to think abt everything I lost.
Make lots of backup saves I guess
