So I’m planning to land Munich airport 9/18, I haven’t figured out hotels etc yet. But I’d like to do Oktoberfest opening weekend and around Munich. *typically, I don’t struggle with jet lag*

I’d like to find a secondhand dirndl as I’d like something good quality, suggestions on where I should go?

Then Oktoberfest and explore around Munich, maybe a day trip somewhere?

Then I’d like to take the train to Frankfurt for a night before taking another train to Cologne.

I’d like to stay maybe 2 nights in Cologne before taking yet another train to Paris.

Anyone have suggestions on trains/public transport, best or worst areas, things to do, restaurants etc?

Obvi, I’m American (🥲) so I’ll have a large suitcase lol

-I have travelled via trains/public transport around other parts of Europe but this will be my first time in Germany!

THANK YOU FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS!! 🩷
