I thought that Dachshund breeds were mellow. I know that they can have some behavior issues, like being stubborn. She's about a year old. Her owner surrendered her to the shelter. I've been really patient with her, she's so hyper that I can't take her to parks that are busy. She tries to jump on people, and if she sees a dog it triggers her so, she starts barking. She also likes to nip at people's crotch areas when she's excited. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Any advice would be appreciated.
