Originally, I committed to RPI to major in aerospace engineering and minor in astrophysics. But I found out on Monday that I had been taken off the waitlist for Boston University, which was incredibly unexpected. If I went to BU, I would major in Astrophysics and minor in mechanical engineering (which was my original plan). There was also a BS-MS program I might pursue. I don't really know what to do. I believe that RPI is better for engineering, but BU is better for astrophysics. I'm really interested in both astrophysics and engineering, and I hope to have a job in the future that lets me do both. I liked Boston a lot, but at the end of the day, I should be more concerned about my career than the area I would be in. Which one should I do?
