Hi today, my mother was in a car accident as I was walking up a block away from her and saw the whole situation! She’s 85 years old as she’s driving down a three way one way street she goes to put on her blinker so she could switch lanes to the left and up the left lane come somebody going 60 mph visas a 30 mph downtown speed limit! They try to floor it and get past my mother sideswiped their van little damage to the front end of my mom’s! I see the whole thing driver doesn’t even know I am with my mother. He gets out start screaming at my mother. This is all your fault all in English telling her horrible things and he’s calling the police on her. My mom is so shook up she almost believed this when I saw the whole thing.(there are cameras on the street thank God.) we wait officer pulls up. He gets out goes to the driver side door. We are all pulled over on the left side never even assess the damage or anything. The guy starts telling the officer in perfect English when he could not speak any of it when I approached him, mom was in a little late he says were you in the car? I said no try to tell him, but I was outside and saw the whole thing so he says that you mind your own business and back up. It’s just a minor accident get over there obviously in the history of accidents there’s no damage on a front and a backside of a vehicle. It’s her fault! Funny because when he got out of the car, he walked up to the driver side window didn’t even look at the damage. Didn’t even go to the right side of his minivan and see the damage or anything walked up to my mom said it’s your fault. I’m making a police report. You can pick up the report Tomorrow. I tried to explain to him yes in the history of accidents when it’s a single lane of course if it’s front to back but in this case it’s on the side it’s on her front and this is a three lane one way street.! what bothers me is he didn’t even assess the damage????? He’s already getting out and telling me to back up cause I wasn’t in the car. I wasn’t in the car, but I witnessed the whole thing and I also witnessed the guy traumatizing my mother, screaming at her telling it was her fault in all English, and then he couldn’t speak any English officer came and this just seems like a whole like this it was just strange! No investigation cop gets there already telling you what happened without even looking I don’t like the way it smells
