I’m struggling pretty hard right now and could use some reassurance or shared experiences.

I recently stopped taking Zepbound, and for the last two weeks, I’ve been dealing with intense acid reflux. I had a telemedicine appointment with my doctor today to explain what’s going on, and while she’s seen me virtually, she now wants me to come in for an in-person follow-up in two weeks.

The part that’s triggering my cardiophobia: She explicitly stated she needs to see me in person because my symptoms (chest discomfort/reflux) can mimic cardiac issues like a heart attack. Even though I know doctors have to rule out the "scary stuff" for liability and safety, hearing her say those words has me spiraling.

• Has anyone else experienced a massive spike in GERD/reflux after stopping a GLP-1?

• How do you tell the difference between the "Zepbound rebound" and something actual heart-related?

• Is a two-week wait normal if she was actually worried it was an emergency?

Trying to stay calm, but my brain is stuck on what she said. Thanks in advance
