Question about distraction from primary caregiver
hi everyone, my grandma has dementia and although it’s not very advanced, i had a question. when scrolling on this reddit i saw a post about how the primary caregiver of a lady with dementia was her husband. the lady would always worry and ask where he was so he couldn’t leave the house for very long.
i was wondering because they said leaving notes or having her daughter tell her mom where her husband went wasn’t affective, would it be possible/helpful for her husband to just remain on the phone or facetime? have you dealt with that scenario before and found any solutions? thanks.
