Jurassic Coast base suggestions
Hi,
I'm planning a two day trip from London this month and want to go somewhere close with natural beauty. Jurassic Coast looks amazing and I'm thinking of visiting the following locations so far - Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Charmouth Beach, Old Harry Rocks, Stair Hole. (Happy to have suggestions for other must-see places I may have missed!)
So my question is where should I base myself for the overnight stay to easily be able to see all these places? I don't have a car so will be taking the train from London plus public transport to get around. My friend can't hike so we would need good connectivity to get everywhere from the base without a lot of walking - is that too ambitious?
I'd also like a base with good hotels and vegan food options.
Weymouth seems bigger but Wareham/Lulworth appear closer to the Durdle Door attractions. Or maybe other towns I haven't considered are better?
