Hey everyone,

I wanted to get some advice from people who have real experience building and running projects on Replit.

I currently have a system running on Replit (Node.js / TypeScript, APIs, database, etc.), and it's already being used in practice — so this is not a “build from scratch” situation.

At this stage, I’m looking for help with:
- reviewing and understanding parts of the existing codebase
- doing small refactors and general cleanup
- helping plan (and maybe execute) a future migration, if needed
- keeping things stable as the system evolves

I’m not looking for a senior architect — the scope doesn’t justify that — but I also don’t think a very junior developer would be able to handle this kind of work.

So I’m trying to understand:
👉 what kind of developer profile would actually fit this stage?

Also, just to be transparent:
this is a small-budget project for now, but it’s real and growing. I’m more interested in someone pragmatic who enjoys working on evolving systems than building everything from scratch.

If you’ve hired (or been) this kind of developer, I’d really appreciate your perspective.

And if you’ve worked on maintaining or migrating Replit-based systems, I’d love to hear your experience.

Thanks!
