Hi guys! I'm currently an undergrad sophomore, was fortunate enough to get a McK and Bain 2027 ACI offer this week, and I'm an incoming FAANG data science intern this summer. I'm in a huge pickle and would really appreciate some help.
I prefer tech, but am unsure about a return offer and will not know before the decision deadline for MBB, so I was wondering if anyone has experience with reneging/extending MBB offer deadlines.
If I were to accept, is Bain or McKinsey a better choice? I'm currently in the process of negotiating decision deadlines with both companies so I was just going to choose the one with a later deadline, but would love to hear y'alls thoughts on this. If I go into consulting, I want the chance to relocate home to the West Coast (I go to school in Texas).
Would love to hear the trade-offs regarding office transfers, prestige, WLB, pay, and culture.
