Hi everyone, I'm not completely sure if this is the right subreddit for this, if not I'm really sorry.

Essentially, i'm making my first forray into academic style writing, and the topic I chose is about what nation states are, and how they emerged. To this end, if anyone has any recomendations for books, podcasts, articles, basically anything to expand my knowledge about this topic I would be eternally grateful!
