WRITERS BEWARE!!! I asked for proofreading quotes from a Reedsy-approved and verified editor and decided to go with David Dobson. See image attached. Well, he said he would deliver the finished work upon payment yesterday. I paid, and so far today I have not received the work AND no further communication from him. He has disappeared.
I then asked REEDSY for help and they do not respond to my requests for help. I had to leave a bad review, which I hate to do.
This is my first time using REEDSY. What a shocking introduction.
I paid David $1276. Now I have to go submit a fraud claim with my credit card company.
Anyone else been scammed by REEDSY?
