I am borrowing my sisters canon camera. I have never used a DSLR camera before. She has the standard lens that came with it and pictures came back so blurry when I tried to zoom. So I bought the Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 EF-S IS STM Lens. Took it out for the first time and got some decent pictures.

I need advice on what else I should get as I’m just starting out. Also if I wanted to get my own camera that won’t break the bank what should I get? It will be mostly for sports pictures.

How does the settings look that I used? I wanted some videos and need to know if I should tweak anything.
