Hello! I’ll be in London from Canada Thursday-Sunday to celebrate my 30th birthday and was hoping to get thoughts/recommendations on our current restaurant itinerary. Main question is deciding my actual birthday dinner Friday but open to suggestions for any day. We are craving beef wellington, however, we both love fine dining Mexican - Quetzal (1* Mexican) is one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto.
My fiancé and I love both fine and casual dining - the most important thing is that the food is good!
Thursday: dinner at The Guinea Grill (craving pub food)
Friday (birthday): lunch at *manteca, dinner at KOL or Bob Bob Ricard
Saturday: chill lunch (probably a sausage roll from the ginger pig), dinner at Legado
Sunday: Sunday roast at Jones & Sons, dinner at Dishoom (didn’t want to leave without having British-Indian)
*We’ll be in Italy June so no need for authentic authentic Italian
Edit: we are walking in for the bar food (sausage rolls, pies) not the actual restaurant!
