We are considering a house which is great for us and has a beautiful swimming pool in the garden.

The garden has beautiful landscaping, greenhouse & raised beds, play frame for the kids and BBQ area with a pool in the middle of the garden.

Funnily enough I actually can't swim but have always loved being in the water.

I'm a little worried about the upkeep and how much we'd use it. We are always the friends who entertain and think a pool would be cool, but are worried it will be more hassle than it's worth.

What is everyone else's experience with this?
