I know we’re pretty weak as a standalone army, but do we have a niche as allies? Is there any Imperium army that benefits a lot from having Imperial Agents as allies?

I tried coming up with an Imperial Knights list that had some agents as allies, mostly to do actions and score secondaries while the knights do all the fighting, but my friends said it would probably be a weak army list because the allies don’t benefit from the Knights’ army rule or detachment and would be too easily picked off.

So where are allied Imperial Agents really good? I’ve heard that they have a niche to fill with Adeptus Custodes, but I genuinely can’t think of an army that interests me less. Please tell me there’s an Imperium army that synergises well with Imperial Agents!!

She’s a mix of a few models:

Main body: exalted sorcerer on disc (Thousand Sons)

Top-left hand and power pack: Typhus (Death Guard)

Head of staff: Benefictus (Genestealer Cults)

Head: ??? (random bit I found in my bits box)

I tried to make her seem somewhat more like a genestealer who has been corrupted by Slaanesh. I imagine she was born with the potential to be a cult’s benefictus, but was abducted as a child by my warband and trained to become a sorcerer instead.

The back of the head looks like exposed brain and the power pack looks kinda like tyranid chimney orifices, so I think it works :3

Which army are we best to ally into?
