How are my Tomatoes doing?
My first year moved into a new house with a huge garden in the UK 8b so been doing veg gardening really for the first time with my 4 year old daughter.
We have done potatoes and carrots in a bucket before but this year's my first crack at tomatoes. Just potted them on and hardening them off a bit for a couple of hours in the day before they eventually go on the patio for two and the others staying in the greenhouse.
Greenhouse one I think is ready for some support from the tip of the greenhouse. They all have a nice mix in the pot with a little blood fish and bone mixed through the soil before potting and some nettle tea every two weeks or so.
Elsewhere in the garden we have potatoes, carrots, parsnips, garlic, leeks onions, Chinese cabbage, swiss chard, kale, strawberries, Jerusalem artichokes, radishes, orach, sweetcorn, peas and beans but they all seem to be doing well just my tomatoes seem like divas.
