Homebase aesthetic medicine – Botox fillers

I recently went for a consultation at a home-based RN cosmetic injector in Ottawa and now I’m a little confused about what the actual regulations are for these places in Ontario.

The setup was in a finished basement of a private home. The treatment area was open to a lounge/common area and the sink was located in the bathroom rather than directly inside the treatment room itself. They also offer Botox and filler injections.

Afterward, I tried searching public health/business information because I was curious about inspections and oversight, but I couldn’t really find anything connected to the business names or address.

For people familiar with aesthetics or medical spas in Ontario — is this pretty standard now for home-based injectors, or are these places normally supposed to be registered/inspected somewhere through public health or another regulatory body?

Just looking for honest input because I genuinely don’t know what’s considered normal anymore with these kinds of businesses.
