I would like to make a suggestion that afk timers should be based on the amount of games you play as it is more likely unforeseen circumstances occur the more time you spend in game. If a player plays 10 games and gets the same penalty as someone who plays 800 games the math doesn't really add up there.

I was playing support and just could not figure our why I could not climb. I had adopted an attitude of "just try your best the rest will follow" It hadn't. I got a miss fortune on my team that was flashing ults that did not need to be flashed. Healing things that did not need to be healed. Upon further review it was a level 32 account with almost no games played. How is it I am in the same hemisphere of this person? I understand macro states, I actively seek to improve at all times and I'm being matched with a first timer? Mind you this is gold lobby's. I believe the miss fortune was Iron 4 0lp. Riot please start stat checking players as win rate is only 1/5th as accurate as player skill. People drone on and on about winrates with things as silly as starter items. "If you start this you have a .0003% chance higher of winning blah blah blah. That is not a good metric to measure things when there are so many other variables such as player skill, team comp, someone spilling a drink on their keyboard, etc..
