I bought an Apple Watch SE 3 without checking iOS compatibility first.
Now I realized my current phone is an iPhone XR, who’s iOS is not at all compatible with the watch.
What I’m thinking is:

Log into my Apple ID on my sister’s newer iPhone
Pair and setup the watch there
Then use the watch with my XR
Will this work safely, or will it create issues later with syncing/updates/features?
Anyone tried something similar?
