Hi everyone,
I know this has been asked a couple of times but I've not been able to find the exact solution that would work for me.
I work for a Streamer company, one of the big ones, and it's my job from time to time to do lists with screenshots. It's frustrating how when inserting images into cells they don't fully fit and leave white spaces. I manually adjust them from time to time but it's so time consuming and annoying that I'm looking for solutions. For my image inserts I use the windows snip tool or the mac snip tool and just copy paste the images into my cells. It's not the best workflow as I know someone will inevitably suggest the URL and =image functions to scale them, but that's not something I can use. Firstly because all of these images have to be kept offline and only on the document, so they can't be stored on my google drive in case of potential breaches, as you can't take them from the google sheets cells it's okay, but if I have full on screenshots in my g drive that's a no-go. Secondly, even if I did keep them in my g-drive I would run out of space incredibly fast since every list will have at least 6-12 sheets with at least 200-300 images in each row-by-row.
So essentially i'm looking for some sort of function/extension that would format my rows to fit the image in them, sort of filling out the row width/height when inserted. Could anyone help me create something like that? I'm even willing to pay if it comes down to it, because it's a long part of my job and I've had some perfectionists complain about those pesky white spaces, even though it really shouldn't matter for anyone.
Thanks
