How to help with patella alta and hypermobility?

Story short, I always had knee problems as a kid: started walking late, can’t ride a bike, can’t swim, awful balance, can’t run properly. Had chronic pain with my knees for years, hurts to kneel and can’t straighten legs, etc. Also had an issue with fluid on my knees during my early teen years.

I’m 22 and dislocated my kneecap for the first time just standing about two weeks ago. No fracture thankfully but I saw the fracture clinic today and they told me I had patella alta and hypermobility. Would this explain the chronic knee pain and general wobbliness/unsteadiness?

I have been referred to physiotherapy but I’m not expecting anything good since our healthcare is pretty crap even if it is the NHS, what do people do to help with their knees? What do I do from now? What helped for yall?

I’ve been recommended cycling (I cannot learn to ride a bike no matter how much I try), and also recommended knee wraps/supports especially while I work.

I usually run Navia, Furina, Zhongli and Yanfei/Arlecchino, but I want to build a new team for Lohen!

I’m hoping to get Durin and Lohen this run! What would be the best team I can do with what I have, and who should I build and how? Thank you!! 🩵
