I don't know if I'm in the right subreddit for this, but I'm trying to put my .mp4 files that I wish to watch later on a dvd, and I have no idea what I'm doing. I have some blank dvd disks, but when I burnt the files onto the disk, my computer could read them but my blu-ray player and xbox 1 could not. What should I be doing?

System specs: 10.1 gigs of ram, Intel© Core™ i5-2520M CPU, integrated graphics card. I'm asking for software or things to use, footage was downloaded.
