I recently came across Transcript IQ while looking at different ways teams are using expert insights in research workflows.
What I found interesting is the idea of using expert call transcripts as a starting point before jumping into fresh calls. For early-stage market research or sector mapping, it actually makes sense. You can quickly understand the market language, key questions, competitive dynamics, and what operators are seeing on the ground.
The useful part is that it’s not just raw transcripts. From what I saw, the transcripts come with summaries, full Q&A, company and ticker tags, sector/geography context, and compliance checks like MNPI screening and PII redaction.
I don’t think this replaces live expert calls, especially when you need very specific answers. But as a first layer of research, it feels pretty practical for PE, VC, consulting, or strategy teams trying to build context quickly.
Curious if others here use expert transcripts before doing live calls, or if most teams still prefer starting from scratch.
