My baby will be 6 months in 1 week. He is not officially sleep trained but falls asleep in his crib for naps and bedtime with our assistance. He still feeds 2 or 3 times overnight. Recently, he has been waking at 5 or 530am, ready to go. He is wide eyed, plays in his crib a little, then cries out.
His schedule is 2.25 / 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.75. He naps don't go over 3h total.
Does he need more awake time? I thought I had an appropriate schedule for his age.
Also, are wake windows supposed to start when the baby is placed in the crib or when he actually falls asleep??
