MY AO3 ENDING FOR 'FOR YOUR MURDER' WITH A TWIST ;P
I LOVED THIS WEBTOON BUT I CRIED IN DISAPPOINTMENT AT THE DAMN ENDING! ANYWAYS I HAVE MY 'AO3' BUILD-UP, CLIMAX AND 2 ENDINGS FOR IT:
BUILD-UP:
Instead of setting the fire scene, I would’ve preferred a much darker route where he actually keeps her captive and blackmails her using her brother and the detective. His prideful response to rejection would basically be: “If I can’t have you, no one can.” So he cages her in his mansion. She tries to escape, but of course he doesn’t let her succeed. The situation escalates as he becomes more dangerous, even to the point of breaking her leg (I know that’s extreme, but it fits his character’s downward spiral). Eventually, she realizes brute force won’t work, so she changes her approach. She slowly starts to “warm up” to him, not genuinely, but carefully, because he would suspect her if she suddenly changed too fast. She plays the long game. When he tries to get intimate, she tells him she’s not ready, and he accepts it because he knows she’s afraid of him. Over time, she gives him small, controlled moments of affection, almost like teaching him what love is supposed to feel like. We get to see the dynamic between them when they are alone. There is chemistry between them. Iseop seeks more of FL affection. FL is internally conflicted. He starts treating her gently but she also hates him for everything he did to her. Then, when he finally lets his guard down and her leg heals, she escapes.
CLIMAX:
After escape, there are few scenes that I ain't interested in discussing. Anyways at the climax, Furious Iseop tracks her down after realizing she tricked him and left. To him, her escape isn’t freedom, it’s betrayal. He snaps completely and tries to actually kill her. In his perspective, FL looks like a bug (the one he wants to end) and herself (the one he obsess with). But he has upper hand. So FL struggles. She felt helpless but she remembered that her brother is alive. She cannot die. She tried and tried. And kicked him THERE. She took his kn*fe and saw him as a bug. And she st*bbed him. As he lies there on the ground, there’s a final shift, his POV flashes (WHY THE BUCK AUTHOR DIDN'T INCLUDE THIS!) back to the very beginning, when he first met her. We finally see what drew him to her in the first place, why she became an obsession unlike anyone else, and what he thought was love all along.
[For me, I did not like this dude because he literally hit FL PLUS he targeted FL brother which is a dumb move but based on his character it makes sense, this psycho never cared for his sister so he didn't think much of FL reaction to her brother's injuries before doing all the planning. But I know there are yandere lovers out there so I made a delicious twisted ending for you ;) Enjoy]
ENDING 1 (for those who hate him): after the climax and his POV, he dies. FL realises that she committed her first murd*r and she feels horrified so she quickly leaves the scene. She tells the detective everything and detective reassures her that she won't get in jail. Then, FL gets therapy, and reconcile with her brother who gets character development where he understands that his sister was always on his side. the last scene is timeskip where FL, brother and the detective having lunch together and laughing around.
ENDING 2 (for yandere lovers): after the climax and his POV, he doesn't die. He survives. FL realises what she did. She st*bbed someone for the first time and she looks are blo*dy trembling hands. He tells her she’s the only one he loved, the only one who destroyed him completely. The FL responds to him that what he called love was never love. He never asked her how she wanted to be loved. He only acted on his own version of it. That’s not love, that’s control. If he truly loved her, he would’ve let her live freely instead of hurting her brother and everyone around her. She leaves him there without hurting him further because she doesn't want to become a murd*rer like him. Later, Iseop is taken to the hospital, and arrested once the detective uncovers enough evidence of his past crimes. When Iseop wakes up, he’s in prison. Years pass. The FL is finally in therapy and healing. One day, she gets ready for her third date with a man she met on matchmaking app. She opens the door, and a handsome man smiles at her, holding flowers. She accepts them. Before they leave, FL says goodbye to her brother. The brother looks at the doorway. FL's date smiles at the FL's brother. FL's brother felt weird about this man but since the brother saw his sister being happy after a long time, he didn't say anything and went back to whatever he was doing. FL and her date leave together. But as they walk to his car, the panel zooms in on the back pocket of the man's trouser, a familiar cigarette lighter and black gloves..
(If you didn't figure out the twist. Here it is:>! Iseop changed his face, personality, voice, name and even his job lol after getting out of prison so she wouldn’t recognize him… and chose to connect with her on matchmaking app!<)
