Bo Sorcerer

just beat bo sorcerer for the first time and i have to say steam chain seems to be really really good against her. slapped on the benediction to heal and the forced turn around gives extra damage. i also used solar leap just so i can be close to her a lot of the time. i think steam chain is really great because aside from damage, it literally just keeps her still for a few seconds and you can not only get backstab damage but you trigger the obliterate attack if you follow up immediately with a regular R2. To top it off as they are getting back up you can get 3 light attacks in.

now if i tried that with the flamebringer (which im trying to like because the weapon model looks so cool) i feel like i would have struggled. that weapon skill on the weapon has this mediocre start up time that just gets me hit a lot.

What set ups did you guys use to make this fight smooth, since it's potentially one of the harder bosses.

Eagle Pendant and steam chain combo

is steam chain not enhanced by eagle pendant since its technically not a stabbing attack? would dragonling pendant be better since it enhanced slash. steam chains animations seem to fall in the slash category but im not entirely sure.

the parents being ignorant or dumb

after rewatching, it always bothered me how the parents were always ignoring what the kids were saying. i understand not believing the nightmares being real but even little things like when the mom accused her of not taking tina's death seriously. her friend just got murdered and she's saying the argument wasn't serious and the mom for some odd reason turns that statement on her because reasons. just twisting her words right in front of her face when it's clear as day what they are saying. same thing with the dad. your daughter just experienced something fucked up and you're worried about curfews or whatever trivial thing. that energy persists through the entirety of the film.

is this just for the sake of dumb parent trope in a lot of horror movies or was that her ungraceful way of trying to divert from them having to accept that maybe them killing freddie is coming back to bite them in the ass?

other than iframing it when jt turns orange, ive been able to just run and avoid consecutively. only problem js i havent been able to do the running approach with success in later attempts. is there some quirk im missing with avoiding it by running? my subsequent attempts the boss seems to be right under me no matter where i run. im confused how i was able to do it those few times in previous attempts.

i accidentally left a plastic tupperware cover in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes. it has one small spot that is clearly melted on the inside that is 2 inches in length along the edge. not fully melted where there is a hole but visibly you can see the deformity.

is it safe to reuse for the future once it has cooled down?

ive reached what seemingly is the last boss im guessing on the surface. i got there with the aspect of mel staff level V. it was my first time so it was a quick death trying to learn the moves.

what do you think is most reliable set up?

im thinking aspect of eos with the umbral flames and trying to get blitz on attack with chain lightning. and just focusing on the attack. i cant seem to get the same kind of damage with the aspect of mel staff or any of the sister blades. and while ive done pretty good with sister blades backstab damage, i dont feel confident in not getting hit.

Has anyone had any success playing on tormented difficulty on latest patch?

I cannot click on this difficulty in either NG or NG+

ive beaten the game once on ng standard, once on ng+ assisted, twice on ng+ standard. not once has the tormented difficulty ever been selectable.
