Northern California (San Joaquin General Hospital) Attending Job
I saw a job advertisement for a hospitalist position here and decided to join (moving from the east/ midwest coast). I worked for about a week almost and then quit. The Internal Medicine department here is run by individuals who appear very backward minded. I was told certain things during the recruitment process but when I actually joined I realized it wasn't true. I would be careful if wishing to join this department specifically as a hospitalist. Other departments, however, seem to be doing well based on my interactions with the other residents and doctors in those few days I was there.. Good luck to everyone! We have all worked hard to get to this step in life . Let me know if there is good hospitalist jobs out there near this area. I've heard good things about sutter.
