I called the child support enforcement office. Went through the automated menu for denial of passport. (I owe child support but not much and on a payment plan and update with current support order issued). It says the state of Indiana has a hold on my passport, and to contact them for more information. My question does the arrears need to be paid in full in order for the renewal even if we have a payment agreement set up with the state. Mind you my credit would take a hit every month being reported and now it doesn’t, show up anymore. Help please I have a wedding out of the county next year.
