Food Sensitivity Test - Question

I believe I have fungal overgrowth. A food sensitivity test I took, indicated that I am sensitive to Oregano, Ginger, Salicylates, and many other foods. It occurs to me that Oregano, Ginger, and Salicylates are antifungal.

I am not sure how this tests works, but can it be that somehow it is showing that I am sensitive to these foods when in reality, it is a die-off reaction?

Sorry if this question makes no sense lol

Anyone looking to try FMT?

Wondering if anyone is planning on traveling somewhere for FMT. I am thinking of going to Europe to get this. I think if I get a series of them, I can make a further dent in my illness.

Just wanted to discuss

Has anyone accessed respite services for elderly loved one?

If you did use respite care that was partially government funded, in a long term care home, how long did you have to wait once you had the interview and completed the application?

I realize this will depend on how many options you chose and the length of respite time you needed, but just trying to get a general idea.

Thanks!

INTT stock - opinions?

Hi all. Does anyone have opinions on INTEST corporation? I do not know much about this area but I know they had a good earnings report and a strong buy rating... Looks like it could have a nice run up given the EV automotive demand

Thanks!

I would like to know why there is not more discussion about companies working on manipulating the gut microbiome. This is where the future of medicine lies. Virtually every chronic disease known to man, will one day be treated this way.

So, I wanted to talk about the potential new biomarker, TRMP3 ion channel dysfunction. A woman posted on Facebook that she recovered by taking Pregnenolone - some kind of hormone. I was googling this and it says that it can help this TRMP3 issue and it can work synergistically with something called "β-caryophyllene".

Has anyone tried this?

Hi all. Someone on FB says she recovered from ME/CFS using something called Progenolone. I have never heard of this hormone before but the potential new biomarker for the disease is something called "TRMP3 ion channel dysfunction" and the internet says this: "TRPM3 is a calcium ion channel that is activated by high heat and certain compounds, such as pregnenolone sulfate"

Not sure if there are any scientists here....but would love an easier way to understand this.

Also, wonder how this ties into the JAK-STAT pathway... ?

Wish I could understand more about this stuff but my brain fog always makes it impossible.

Hello. I tried a very high dose probiotic with L Reuteri and B. Subtillis in it. When I look up these bacteria, it says that they are always anti-inflammatory. However, when I take them, I feel very ill and feverish. I do not think that it is "die-off" or herxheimer. It feels strangely like it is causing a very subclinical sepsis type of feeling.

Can this happen??

Would this happen no matter which bacteria I take?

Thank you
