What stories / tropes do you want to see more of in this genre
So I always see posts like this “what tropes do you hate / what plot points do you hate” on here but I have a different question.
Do you think there are certain tropes/ plot lines that would work really well in this genre that haven’t been explored fully or well ?
For me a story that centres around a revolution against nobility set in a historical setting would eat so bad. Like it doesn’t have to stick to the rules of reality there can still be magic and regression and all of that but with a rich plot that actually tackles classism, homeland and those sorts themes. I feel like revolutionary princess Eve attempted this but it’s not my cuppa. Or ones with vampires would be so lit.
Ofc character driven stories with fleshed out emotions / people is always a plus too. I hope now that this genre is so popular that creators give lot depth to characters.
