I caved in for leverless

I saw Qanba Sapphire S1 for 179$ and I had no choice to buy it. I’m really excited since I’ve felt a disconnect with Stick. And from what I’ve seen Qanba seems to be one of the top brands so I’m excited for the buy

Where should I start working on when first using a fight stick?

Okay I’m 34 hours into my SF6 grind on stick, I recently shifted from Zangief to Luke so I have to combo into qcb and qcf and DP and all that shibang. It’s really hard. Sometimes I try my best but can’t get a super out (2x qcf) and my DP out at all even in practice range on consistency.

Do you guys recommend just doing the motions slowly and avoiding the gate as much as possible to get a feel, or should I just play more matches and hope it sticks? I’m just kinda terrible rn lol

I really want a lever less to add to my collection and on a glance the Hori Nolva looks at the very least like a decent choice to pick. However I kinda have felt a bit unsure in regards to hori after buying a dodgy steering wheel off them a few years back. My main fear is that I’d buy one and it wouldn’t hold up and I’d have to look into something else.

It’s between the Nolva, Mayflash F500 flat or an 8bitdo. I’m just really unsure where I should lean to. I appreciate any insight given

I’ve had a stick for a few years a mayflash F500 V2 and it’s been doing its job but recently I’ve tried out SF6 and I’ve had a blast, my issue is the 236236 input. Being a zangief player I feel like I get some advantages in the 360° department, but canceling a 2MP into super sucks hard, and I’d assume it would be much easier on a lever less because of consistency.

All be it my muscle memory is still semi fresh, Ive only been hard grinding for 30 hours past 2 weeks (not a lot ik) so there’s still a chance it can improve, but what do you guys think?

Is the ceiling for stick higher than it feels for me currently or am I gonna have to look into a lever less for more consistent complex inputs?
