I posted yesterday about my goal to read a romance book in every country and I got so many great ideas. I created a Storygraph challenge for anyone who wants to join me! Please add as many books as you can think of!

Also: I am so very grateful for this community and the wonderful book recs I get. The feeling of superiority I get when I can say I read Heated Rivalry right when it was published because of a gush post here is top tier**🤌**

So last year, I posted a map of where the books I read took place. This year I decided that I wanted to read a book in every country in the world, which is hard. This is especially true because I want a happy, upbeat, easy beach read (even military romance books are pretty fluffy). Below I have pasted the list of every country and a romance book that I have found that has taken place there. The rules I had were (1) 50%+ takes place in the country (2) must be written in English because I am that American. The ones that are blank I still need to find a book and the ones that are italicized I have already read.

*Please know that there are some of these I DO NOT recommend, but I included them nonetheless because I need the country. For example {With or Without You by Carole Matthews} is very white-savior coded (written in 2004 so it does track) and {By Lethal Force by Patricia D. Eddy} was just painful to get through, but Turkmenistan is also near impossible to find a book in English in.*

I hope this helps anyone else in their goals of reading the world (and please let me know if you have any recommendations for books in countries that I am missing or haven't read yet!!!!!!!!)
