As an expat in Malaysia, i am really curious what Orang asli consider a middle class income to be in Malaysia?....because given the cost of living being so low here, most foreigners in Malaysia consider it a comfortable place. Citizen have a greater advantage with free healthcare, education and subsidiaries in petrol, rent etc....many MNC operate here, luxury condos and malls and international schools. Despite that I have heard many Malays complain that living standards and income is not enough.....i really want to understand what the "other countries" offer that is better. If you go to europe or middle east the income is simply set off by equally expensive cost of living. Moreover general environmental and weather has a great impact of general happiness and wellbeing, middle east is literally a concrete jungle in a desert, whereas european climate is highly variable with hit summers very cold winters. Here the environment is so good especially for young children.
