my family is from kirkuk and as far as i know kirkuk is originally a kurdish city. What im strugling to understand is, why we dont take it back? I mean kirkuk is as important as erbil/hawler and not just with resources but also a major center for kurds seen over all.

I cant imagine how the kurds in kirkuk feel right now. Embarassed, sad, mad, betrayed?

why is no one taking action before it gets arabised or perhaps turkified?

If anyone know anything about future plans for kirkuk or want to share their own thoughts about this subject, please do so...
