I’m trying to apply for the Kotak 811 SuperMoney credit card through the SuperMoney app, but I’ve been running into a repeated issue during the FD deposit step.
Here’s my situation:
- My Kotak 811 account is already created and fully active
- I’ve reached the stage where I need to make the FD deposit (for the secured card)
- But every time I try to proceed with the deposit, I get an error and the transaction fails
I even contacted a Kotak bank employee. She said she can help me create an FD and get a credit card manually, but she wasn’t sure if that would result in the same SuperMoney credit card I’m specifically applying for through the app.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with the FD deposit step on the SuperMoney app?
- Is this a temporary glitch or something related to UPI/payment limits?
- Should I wait and retry, or go ahead with the bank employee’s help (even if it might be a different card)?
PS: I am 18 with no past credit history thus my Credit Score would be -1. Thus I would be taking this FD-Backed Credit Card
