Third party tint is a lot cheaper than factory tint. Should I go with third party? Any downsides?

I do not have a garage and i need to install a level 2 charger and park my model 3 outside in winter. Does anyone have experience parking and charging outside? I heard the door can freeze and also it wouldn't be efficient.
