Planning to stock FTTH materials for the CA market (Drop cables/Patch cords) - What’s the current field preference?

Hi everyone,
I’m starting a distribution business in California (Lumina Fiber Solutions) and I’m looking to narrow down my inventory to the top 3-4 most used items for residential and small commercial FTTH installs.
I’ve been looking at the following, but I’d love some feedback from guys actually out in the field:

  1. Drop Cables: Are you mostly using Flat Drop (Non-Armored) for those last-mile runs? Also, is there a shift towards Pre-terminated Drop Cables to save time on-site, or is everyone still doing fusion splicing/mechanical connectors?
  2. Patch Cables: For indoor connections to the ONT/Router, is LC/UPC to LC/UPC Duplex (Singlemode OS2) still the "gold standard," or are you seeing more SC/APC requirements for GPON setups?
  3. Termination Boxes: What kind of wall outlets/rosettes are the most installer-friendly? Are you guys preferring the small compact ones that can hold a few splices, or something more rugged?
I want to make sure I’m importing what's actually being used and not what just looks good on a catalog page.
Any advice on UL ratings requirements or specific brands that set the bar for quality in the US would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

Drop Cable in USA

Guys, doing a FTTH project in LA, what is your go-to drop cable for residential installs?
How much fibers in cable, one or two? Or maybe more…
