as the question in the title, as a cat owner what's the better method?

I just got myself a CT5 and the dealer I got it from was promoting that it has ambient lighting and welcome lights?
It's a weekend so I don't really have any options to call the dealership right now but I was wondering what these things are? Because whenever I Google ambient lighting in Cadillac it shows those illuminating seats and dashboards and stuff with LEDs which I do not see in my car nor the fact that it says I have to download an app in the car but the app store is completely barren with only four apps available? what's there?
also the welcome lights where there are lights underneath the door, in my case whenever I open a door it's just a bright flashlight type of light but I just assumed that there would be something like a bad signal where it would eliminate the Cadillac logo on the floor? am I missing anything there because other than that the Cadillac logo that's on the rim of the car by the door has lights under it to illuminate it.
any information from your experience will be appreciated
