trigger points all over body?

i recently found out i’m hypermobile and suspect i have hEDS too. i have been chronically tense since forever and i’ve noticed i have a ton of these tiny ridges and lumps all over my muscles that when i press and hold on them, i can feel a release similar to a trigger point. but i’m not kidding i have these literally all over my body like different areas of my arms, legs, stomach, chest, feet, even my jaw. i’ve been working hard to try to relax my chronically tense muscles and it’s been helping but it seems wild to think that i would have that many trigger points all over?! didn’t know if anyone else has this or knows what this is?

for several weeks i’ve been working hard in trying to relax all my chronically tense muscles that have been tense for at least 15 years (i’m 28). it took sooo much time and effort bc every time i would try to let go, a second later the muscle would twitch and fight to be tense, over and over again. there were many times where i couldn’t even tell if i was actually relaxing my muscle or not.

it felt like i was making little progress until a couple weeks ago i FINALLY felt my muscles let go. it was a tremendous amount of tension that released in literally all areas of my body. i never realized just how much tension i was actually holding bc that was my normal to me. i’ve been moving around and my body feels so weightless now.

but i’m wondering if maybe i overdid it and over-relaxed my muscles (if that’s even a thing) bc i pretty much feel like jello lol i feel very unsupported, like i’d be able to easily dislocate my joints. that actually led me to look into hypermobility and my dr confirmed it a few days ago. i just can’t get over how weird it feels though bc it’s like i’m in an entirely new body, like it’s my first day being a human and i don’t know how to move or function properly. i plan to see a physical therapist soon but just curious if you all had any insights or similar experiences?
