Just wanted to say a genuine thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to comment, critique, and challenge the scoring so far! It’s been incredibly helpful.
A lot of the feedback around things like texture, bubbles, weighting, and what actually matters in a “good pour” has already started shaping how I’m improving the app.
I also reached out to the mods and have now been given the go-ahead to share it here properly, so for anyone who was asking:
Crema is now live.
It’s an app that scores your latte art and, more importantly, gives you coaching-style feedback on how to improve (judge’s summary, focus area, skill breakdown, etc.).
It’s still early, and honestly that’s why your input has been so valuable. If you do try it, I’d love to know:
- does the score feel fair?
- is the feedback actually useful?
- what would you change?
