Our Nanny’s last day is this Friday and I am struggling with what to get her. She has been with us for over 2 years and is only moving on to start her career. Losing her is very painful and we will miss her so much.
I want to get her something that she will cherish. I have already given her a framed picture at Christmas from our family trip to Hawaii last year (she came with us). I don’t necessarily want to give her money… but I am open to it. I will have the kids sign a card…. But what else can I do?
For my context- she is going to be starting a unpaid internship this summer so I know she won’t have the income she has been getting with us. So maybe money makes sense but I want it to seem like put in our thoughts and love into it…
Please help!!
