TCS NQT 2027

Hey juniors,

I know a lot of you are about to give TCS NQT and honestly I was in the same place not long ago. Confused, underprepared and overthinking everything.

So instead of generic advice I’ll just tell you what actually helps.

First what package are we even talking about
TCS usually hires for Ninja around 3.3 to 3.6 LPA which is where most people land
Digital around 7 to 7.5 LPA which needs a better performance
Prime sometimes around 9 LPA which is rare and for top scorers

Don’t overthink this part. Just focus on maximizing your score because upgrade depends on performance anyway.

Now the real thing what to study

Aptitude is the real game
Most people underestimate this and regret later.

Do these properly
Percentages and Profit and Loss
Ratio and Proportion
Time Speed Distance
Time and Work
Averages
Number system basics like divisibility and remainders

For reasoning
Coding decoding
Blood relations
Series both number and alphabet
Basic puzzles

For English
Reading comprehension
Error spotting
Synonyms and antonyms basic level

If your aptitude is strong you already beat a big chunk of competition.

Coding don’t overcomplicate this
You don’t need hard DSA.

Just be solid in
Arrays like max min sum reverse
Strings like palindrome frequency
Basic patterns
Simple recursion or loop based logic

If you have done easy to medium LeetCode problems you are more than fine.

Mock tests underrated but important
Give at least 2 to 3 full mocks before exam.
Not for marks but to understand time pressure avoid panic and figure out weak areas.

Exam day reality no one tells you this
Timer pressure feels real
Some questions will look weird
You will not know everything

That’s normal. Don’t freeze. Skip and move.

Last few days strategy
Don’t try to learn everything now.
Revise and practice what you already know.

Even 2 to 3 focused hours daily is enough.

Honestly most people don’t fail because the exam is hard. They fail because they ignore aptitude they panic and they don’t practice under time.

If you avoid these mistakes you are already ahead.

If you have doubts drop them here I will try to help.

All the best
