My car seems to be struggling to detect my key fob when im inside and near it. However it still receives signals via the lock, unlock, and trunk buttons. The remote start seems to be iffy now and only works every now and then. Could this be the keyfob itself? Or perhaps the car's receiver going faulty?

I have indeed replaced the battery on the fob! So it isnt that.
