Crossed $1.6M

Today my brokerage hit $1,639,419.48 and my dividend income crossed $20,000 a year — money that shows up whether I work or not.

No inheritance, no windfall, no crypto moonshot. Just consistent investing, living below my means, and putting everything left over after expenses back into the market.

$20k a year in dividends doesn't mean I'm done, Not chasing high yield. It means the machine is real and it's working. That's roughly $1,666 a month generated passively — it would have seemed like an impossible number to me at 25.

For anyone earlier in the journey: the math works, it just takes longer than you want it to. Keep buying. Keep your expenses in check. Don't panic sell. The compounding is quiet for a long time and then one day you look up and it's genuinely changed your life.

Grateful for this community. Posts like this one kept me going during the years when the account balance felt like it would never move.
