day 6 of not getting rocket league to work so I started making my own
I've tried uninstalling wine, different kernel versions, heroic, steam, lutris, differnt proton versions ge latest, 9-27, different configs and yet nothing
on day 3 i played bots, did maybe 5 training packs, and some free play... for a game i payed for, bought skins and spend almost 2k hours on it... this is far from the experience of a responsible software update... Now, with anti cheat, all i can play is the offline mode otherwise the game gives the error you see on the screen.
yes, i have updated proton and wine, yes i have tried it on steam and on heroic, yes i have followed the tutorial on how to run on linux, yes i have everything in the system updated including the graphics card, yes i am aware that some other linux distributions are working fine, no i am not able to dual boot
yes, i have tried other proton and wine versions and yes, other games that use the same anti-cheat are still working fine (MCC for example)
the issue in the logs remains the same: Error in wine's mapping -> which is something epic games and the rocket league developers will need to fix
playing 1v4 bots in "unfair" difficulty feels like playing silvers when I'm at around champ 3 and GC I.
Hopefully devs working on the game see this or are currently aware of the issue and working on it
i guess I'll see you all on day 4 and so on until this gets fixed...
