Had a pretty frustrating one this morning at Cultural Centre in the morning, I was lining up at the rear door for the M2 towards RBWH, but it was pretty crowded. I saw one of the front doors was open and no one was using it, so I walked up there to board.
By the time I got to the front door it had closed. I pressed the door button but nothing happened, so I went back to the rear door. That had closed too by then, and pressing the button there didn’t do anything either. Then the driver just took off while I was clearly trying to get on.
Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying when the service is right there and you’re actively trying to board.
I’ve put in feedback to Translink, but just wondering if anyone else has had the door buttons not respond, or if there’s some trick to them I’m missing?
