Hey!! Not really sure where I should post this question, so I’m starting here.
I don’t smoke or vape but I have been using zyns for the past two years, I probably use 4-6 pouches a day, or roughly 2-3 cans in a week (6mg Zyns). For further reference, I’m a 21(f) 5’4 and weigh under 120lbs.
I’m am getting a breast augmentation done this Friday (May 8, 2026) and was informed at my pre-op appointment on Thursday, April 30, that I would be given a urine test the morning of surgery to test for pregnancy and nicotine. I completely stopped all nicotine that afternoon, and that left me with roughly 7 days and some change to get everything out of my system. I wish I’d done more research so I could have stopped earlier to ensure I’d pass, but here we are. I have been hydrating very well to try and flush out my system as much as I can, but I want to know if I’m doing all of this in vain and should consider rescheduling my surgery. If I do reschedule, however, I’ll lose out on roughly $600-$800 due to having to reschedule the anesthesia and surgeon.
Everyone has been telling me I’ll be fine and that I’ll pass, but it’s been stressing me out😅
